Son como su propio nombre indica, 9 historias de fantasmas que tienen lugar en JaénCapital , basadas todas ellas en leyendas populares (aunque ya sabemos que cuando el río suena y que en ciertos lugares han pasado de ser simples leyendas a convertirse en fenómenos extraños donde los espíritus atormentados de la vetusta alta sociedad jaenera provocan noches en blanco a los incautos que perturban su eterno penar por edificios emblemáticos de la ciudad como el antiguo Palacio de los Vélez (hoy Colegio de Arquitectos) y su malograda joven que enamorada de un plebeyo quedó para siempre encerrada tras sus muros, los Baños Árabes (con el fantasma del rey Alí
el Arco de San Lorenzo y el "Cura Canillas", o la "Casa Del Miedo" (donde debajo de la sábana se escondía el "fantasma" del amante de la señora de la casa).
